Headlight Issues

So I went to the garage to take the bike out today, and the headlight wasn't working. I looked at the high beam indicator and it was blue, denoting high beams on. High beams were not on, and they wouldn't turn on. I'm not sure what the issue could be; since the bulb has two filaments, the chances of them burning out at the same time are slim to none. Any help would be appreciated!

Its not the fuse as they are separate for both high and low beams. It would appear at first to be an earth issue as this would turn the main beam indicator blue. Check for loose connections, if none can be found try running a make do earth to see if that is the issue.

First of all, I think there might be a language issue. What is an "earth"? I can guess at what you mean by the context, if by earth you mean a ground, but I'd appreciate some clarification!

Second, I should have checked the fuses first, since I feel like a tosser for trying to sound like I knew what I was talking about. The fuses are fine.

Earth is what we say the UK for Ground
