Hi to all,

Picked up my new M800 today and love it already. I am based in west manchester in the uk and a regular visitor to rivi barn/southport and will be trying to get further afield this summer on my shiny blue cruising machine!! Need some miles to run it in.

Will need a screen so would welcome any suggestions

Welcome to suzuki800 Marty, love the username by the way. Would be nice to see some pics of your new baby in the showroom when you get a minute.
You will find plenty of info on all sorts of mods and if you need any help then post in the relevant section and you will get all the info you need.

I just resurrected the topic as I'm planning on getting a Slipstreamer screen.
That would already make 2 people that have it.

I'm in Manchester too, and have an M800 with a screen I fitted, so if you want to meet up, and come and have a look, you'd be more than welcome.

Only snag is, I can't tell you make etc, as it was a 2nd hand Ebay bargain, but it will give you some idea when you're looking at quoted sizes etc.

Sorry Marty I should have let you know, when you posted a picture of your cruiser before, I moved it to the showroom and members have been commenting on it.

Love your bike Marty. I like the current blue - it's got a purply tinge. I was looking at new 800's recently and noticed the C800 has a textured seat cover and the M800 a shiny smooth one - like yours looks on the pic. Anyone else seen that in the showrooms lately? I wonder what the reasoning is behind the difference - unless it's batches.

Hi guys, sorry to say but I have sold the M800 and am moving on to pastures new but still in the cruiser genre.
I just couldn`t gel with the Suzuki although it is a very good looking machine and if the passion isn`t there for your bike I feel it is time for something new.
