Firehouse Technology iTube 2.0 Sound System

Well it is against the law here to ride with earbuds in or head phones on, and since I prefer a half helmet, helmet mounted speakers aren't an option. I tried going the cheap route and got the I tube 2.0 from Firehouse technologies

It's a nice little contraption, as was "alright" tooling around town before I install the Vance and Hines pipes. Now I almost look forward to getting caught at a red light so I can hear the music!!
Trying not to break the bank I have been researching some affordable options and have decided to piece this together and hope for the best. Wish me luck, and if anyone has any tips on this before I begin my install I would be grateful to hear them.

Well I have had mixed results, but I am not through yet..the speakers and amp work GREAT! I am very happy with them, and I was concerned because 1) I didn't know the brand. 2) I had read mixed reviews. 3) the price seemed a little low for quality.... I am happy to report that my fears were unfounded =) I love them!

Now for the mixed part...The Jensen radio sounds horrible! I won't even use it because the sound is so bad. There is noise, or interference or something going on... To be totally fair, I could have messed up the install as I am by no means an expert.

I found an un used plug in my headlight housing with an accessory power and a ground so I wired it to that, and I'm thinking maybe that's where I messed up. I have two plans to fix it. My assumption (hope) is that the power is just not "clean" enough. I am going to try and find a filter for it first and if that doesn't work I will try running straight tot he battery.

Interesting read, the power point you found in the headlight bucket is the Auxiliary power point.
