| Ok, so I'm wanting to add about a 1.5" riser extension to my handlebars but here's the tricky part. The Marauder's handlebars have seated bolts that aren't long enough to accommodate more than about a .75" extension. Does anyone know of an easy way to remove the seated bolts from the handlebars? Thanks guys! | |

| By "seated bolts" do you mean threaded bar that's .75" longer than actually needed to go through the triple tree? If so, They'll be threadlocked in probably, I'd spin a nut up the bar an inch or so, and then put a lock nut on right behind it and tighten the nut up to the lock nut, that should release the threaded bar from the riser part of your bars as you tighten it up. | |

| Did you ever get the studs out of your bars? I would like to do this also, but do not know if the studs will come out. | |

| Hello Rob, I don't know of anyone getting the bolts out,,, If I recall they are a shoulder bolt welded into the end of the bars,, I suppose if you really wanted to you could cut them off and re-engineer them,, the handle bars are I believe called T-BARS by design and there is only 3/4 inch of thread left to raise the bars, a popular remedy for this is to fit Yamaha fat T-BARs, they are a bit wider, a bit higher,, come back to you a littleĀ and the if I recall correctly you only have to move the cables from in front of the yolk/triple tree to the rear. Hope this is of some help to you. | |
