So I liked the way that the back of my bike looked with no turn signals but the tail light built in turn signal just didn't work very well. The tail light itself looks great but the turn signal function was just not very good. So I had been looking for a new set of bullet style turn signals. I hate the stock turn signal mounting point which is right next to the license plate. I wanted them to be mounted on the rear fender "supports" like HD does with theirs. The only problem is that on the marauder turn signals are not meant to be mounted there. So there was my dilemma. I needed to find turn signals with long enough mounting studs to work. Finally I found the Saddlemen turn signals and they're exactly what I was looking for. They are expensive though. But, they come with clear and smoked lenses so they matched my smoked tail light as well.

In order to make them fit I had to open up the bolt hole on the chrome fender support trim with my dremel. Then because the posts were larger in diameter than the stock screws I had to drill out the welded mounting bolts with a 3/4" drill bit. Then everything slid together perfectly. The signals take the place of the mounting screws and fit perfectly. It looks stock and the signals are a nice bright red with 25 leds. I think it fattens the rear end up just a little bit, which I like too.
