All I've done is added 4" risers with slight pullback, no cable changes required. Made a world of difference in comfort.

Luckily for you on your model you have slightly longer cables than the newer model, have you a style of bar that you are interested in?

Just trying to figure out the best size, then its off with the horrid standard indicators and get some of those bar end ones
