| Is the yellow colour permanent or can it be polished up? I'm going to wrap the pipes anyway so it doesn't really matter. | |

It'll be permanent Joe, you might get some of it off using chrome cleaner? it'll come back though due to the heat.

| Good on you for cleaning her and adding the (Healtech) FI tuner Pro at the same time. Cleaner bikes always run better. | |

| Tin of Blue job(not cheap) on amazon.I used it on a distressed 03 model, worked for me.Use it sparingly,it requires lots of rubbing | |

| Just installed the f.i. tuner but I haven't plugged it in and run the software as I don't have a laptop. Piece of cake to install. First test ride was the ride to work this morning, though im not sure if it kicks in until you've run the software, but it felt noticeably smoother when changing gear. Bike should come like this out of the factory, feels so much easier to ride.
Does anybody know what I should use to attach the exhaust wrap? Ive been round the hardware shops but I cant find a hose clamp with a large enough diameter, and haven't seen any metal zip ties either.

| Ensure you change the RPM Calibration to what it needs to be on the Healtech FI tuner screen that comes up when you attach you laptop. | |

| I think Joe's give up on the cleaning, And he's going to wrap the full bike with Exhaust wrap? That's why he needs such a big hose clamp ps. B&Q do large hose clamps 50-70mm and 90-110mm £5 for two from memory | |

| Looks like you got your hose clamps.
If other members are looking for some - eg for screen lowers - here's an alternative type of hose clamp .... stainless and quite chunky...
