| Because I am old and forgetful I am always leaving my turn signal on. I can't see where that is a good thing. I want to put the above LED light where i can see it. Can I wire into both signal lights to the red wire and the black to earth ground. Will that not cause an interaction between both Signal lights are do I have to wire a light to each side . I have another light if need be but if one light will do the trick I would rather do it that way. Any help would be welcomed. | |

| tex if its only going to be used as a warning light you will have to wire it into two indicators i.e the front ones should be ok, if you can solder a extra cable to the live to conect to each of the live on the left and right indicators and earth the black. there is a conecting block under the seat on top of the battery cover, hope this helps. | |

| Would it be possible to wire it to the indicator light in the clock housing? The little one that no one ever notices, me included | |

| Sim I was thinking the same thing. I was thinking maybe a bracket on the outside of the front of the housing and wire into that light wire. With the speakers and all the other crap I have i have on the bars I am having a hard time finding a good place to put it. I will look at wire Diag. and see what wire that is.Thanks | |

| Yeah Sim they are VERY noticeable even looking over the screen. I adjusted them a little so I would see them but not blinding. I really needed these as I was forever forgetting the damn things. Guess I am getting old but if i didn't do this that might end suddenly. | |

| Seen these working in your recently updated Video's Link & was very impressed with how visible they are from the riding position while looking ahead or about. Well done & thank you for posting as seeing them actually working will now encourage me to add these to my to-do list & actually add them. Having an indicator left unduly flashing is a death wish. Although my indicator buzzers are a god send while going slow they are next to useless when my Vance & Hines Cruzer pipes are at anything above about 2500/3000 rpm's, so with the buzzers and this great mod that I have actually seen working on your video's I will be very unlikely to ever miss them being left on. Oh & great idea to wire the LED into the stock tank warning flasher as that means only one additional flashers need to be added, in a place of your own choice. | |

| I could see a pair of those looking very cool on my black 'dashboard' that sits at the bottom of my screen.... You got any thoughts on the easiest/most suitable place to pick up a feed from? Splice into indicator cable itself? (one for left, one for right)? Hmmmmm | |

| Still early days yet but I am hoping to splice into the consul light so that only one light needs to be active. Don't know if that possible yet without a major issue. | |

| Dave I have to have two lights. They serve a duel purpose. I am so old it keeps from forgetting what direction I am turning. | |

| Just been looking at the wiring diagram & I have found the wire I believe controls the blinking of the speedo Indicator warning light. So I will splice into that when I am able to, I believe it's the light green wire that goes to the tank consul from the loom. If anyone wants to try it and see please be careful as I am not an auto electrician, so will do this by trial & error on my findings and post them when done. It will take me a month or two before I have done it and am able to post personal findings along with pictures. | |

| I'd have thought if your only fitting one warning light, splicing into the console light would be fine, if two are being fitted, you'd have to pick separate lives up (indicator lives in headlight bucket) to operate them independently. | |

| Absolutely correct Sim but I need an indicator warning light that is well positioned rather than a visibly obscure one which the stock fitted one is, not separate left & right indicator warnings. For me it is a reminder to turn off the indicator in a well placed & visible situation that I am missing.
For anyone requiring a separate left & right indicator warning, then the way to go for them is to have two separate lights individually wired in, they should ignore my my install that I will be doing as it will not be any good for them. | |

| It will be interesting to see how your version of this mod comes out Dave, well thought out. I look at the wiring diagrams and to me they look like a cob webb without the 8 legged monster on it, good on you for thinking out side the box | |

| I have been thinking of this mod since Alfie first did it a year or so ago but time was never on my side. Tex then brought the idea back to life and has done an extremely good job, so I am simply jumping on their band wagons to be honest by adapting it by how I have described above. Still ain't done it yet & the proof will be in the pudding or not as the case may be. | |
