katsd's volusia, 2001 SUZUKI VL800

So I finally to get to post pics


As she was on collection.  In need of a good clean, busted rear indicator, engine bars, leather thingy on the tank, rusty rad grill


One week later.  Mended indicator, removed engine bars & leather thingy, replaced missing bolts, removed tank badges, repositioned number plate & tax disc holder, polished foot pegs & various other bits, resprayed rad grill.

Next up is Pair valve removal & whitewalls.

Looking good Dave R ,personaly I would put the tank bib back on to save any scratches on that nice tank.

A gaood shout on the tank bib Alfie, looks bloody good as well.

The tanks not perfect & the bib had put scuff marks on the tank anyway.  I'm fortunate as my cousin works for Dream Machine & looks after me paintwork wise.  Personally, I like the big expanse of flat tank top - it's crying out for graphics

Theses VL have great tanks on them I love the look with no bibs on them, really big and wide and they look huge like that.

From what I can see yours and mine are the only black and whites on here !!! and your just round the corner too !!!

Looking good Dave   on the single seat   why did you loose the crash bars?

If you have a look at the "mods to be done" ( LINK ) , you'll see the way I'm heading & an engine bar won't work with my idea
