| Thanks guys.
Captain Crash: Yeah im really proud of the things i have managed to do on her. Not much left to do now, new front fender, spikes on the front wheel shaft and some smaller fixes. Then i need some new ideas or projects. To fill my hands with... Have some ideas for mods on the Harely as well... but those parts are much more expensive.

| Simbo: I traded in the VZ1600 a few months back for a FXDF (Fat Bob) 2008, with 400kilometers on it. Really satisfied with the looks and handling of that bike. A big bike with a small bikes handling. When i bought it i added a power commander and the "side shots" pipes. Also got the postal bag from a well known leather maker in sweden. Costs a fortune, but is life time warranty and looks damn good. The things i want to do short term are, change the rear lights to LED to get a much smoother look. And also want to change the indicator glass to smoked. In the long term mods i have been thinking about changing the complete rear fender to a rounder one, the same as on the Wide Glide. Side mounted plate, and some new pegs. here are some pics of it. Doesnt have that many acculy. | |

| Love the way the VZ looks mate, I have the black and white 2001 Volusia and I was thinking of turning it into a bobber but with an old school NYPD cop bike look complete with red and blue spots on the front. Complete with NYPD tank decals and BAD COP decal on the front and rear mud guards !!! When I told the missus it was a resounding NO as she loves the current look and with a bobber there is no pillion seat !!!!

| Jimmyboy: thanks ! :)
Sounds like a neet concept for a bike. Are you aiming for one of those spring loaded seats that normally comes on rigid bikes or will you go for the regular kind of seat for that project ? your idea about "BAD COP" decals is a great one, got me thinking of some nice paint jobs as well. Im one of those guys who like "word-games". So i started thinking of some funny things to spin off on when it comes to slogans. Like the one i Transformers on the "evil police car", where it say : To punish and enslave.

| If I was going to do a bobber with my bike I reckon I would use the standard single seat but I do like the twin shock and the sprung seat look !!

| Sounds nice..i like the old school look of the spinged seat. The only problem i have with that is that the battery box gets a bit highligted and "exposed". the reason why i made my own set that is slimmed is that i think the frame gets a bit square or "boxed" below the seat on the VZ800. If you decide to go for the same kind of seat i did i can recommend glass fiber cloth and epoxy. Quite easy to work with and not expensive. Think i might be able to make a quick guide on the process if your interested. But i aint a pro using epoxy, done it once so there might be flaws in the way i did it. | |

| That's a great way to encourage the better halves to ride a bike as well. It would not have to be a big bike especially to start out on, a small bike will keep up most of the time especially if you ride a little conservatively. What a great way to get a new riding partner and to be able to mod your bike the way you want it | |

| Yeah its a win win thing. Fun to share the riding experience, you both got your own bikes so its up to you what you want to do. Down side is that i get the double maintenance, oil changes and that stuff.. but its worth it | |

| Saddlebags? On the Suzuki there are none. Under the seat is sidecovera With moulded sculls. On the Harley ut sa hand made bag from a swedish leather tailor. | |
