| Hi all!
This weekend i decided i wanted to go for a spin, but let the world know i was coming. So went to pull out my baffles. Well bugger me the bloody wrapping stayed in the pipe. So had to strip it down to retrive it. As you can imagine one broom handle and buggered wraping later i got it out. Then had to cut the wraping of the other baffle so i could re fit them. (so the valves dont burn out??) Sounds not to bad but not as good as de baffled. So getting to the point how easy and where would i get all the gear to re wrap for when it gets to mot time...
Thank you all | |

Not very likely at all from so little actually being done, enjoy it the way you want it. Not sure where to get the exhaust wrap from but someone will pop in with an answer in a bit I am sure, ebay probably?

| I used this LINK Had no problems with it, plenty of it for both baffles and you receive a free gift as well (I can't remember but I think I received a small pack of Silkolene visor wipes)
P.S - I have not tried to remove the baffles after this mod...yet. But I assume the packing will be melted/burned/stuck to pipe if I do...just the nature of the beast.

Thanks for your help. Wonder if you could wrap the outside of the baffle with kitchen foil to stop it sticking so it would come out easer????

| Who's there to say that you can't. Give it a go.
I don't think it will hold.... once you wrap the baffles, they will be a tight fit so the aluminium foil will tear. Unless of course you use less wrapping... go for it...it will be something new :)
