Opinions required please folks, I've got a couple of chrome car exhaust trims to extend and turn out the straight shots, I got 54mm turn out ones (same diameter as the pipes) and a 51mm straight one to slide inside to form a sleeve for connection (nice tight fit) I'll shorten the turn out ones by an inch to remove the screw hole already drilled and re-drill a new one round the back for fixing to the sleeve, the straight shots already have a hole as standard for the optional vortex tips to be fitted so I won't need to touch those, Thing is? I can't decide whether to keep them staggered or make both pipes an equal length by cutting one trim shorter to balance the length out :what1: Here's a pic of what I'm doing to give some idea Turn out tips 3993731222 Cheers for any feedback in advance Turn out tips 3498837457

I like what your doing but personally and would go for equal length, don't like the long length that far down the rear wheel but that's probably just me. If I saw it on someones bike I might like it as part of their bike but wouldn't have them so long for me myself or I but then I like shortish pipes but they would still look really good so I can see why your unsure of which way to go

I think equal length, but it's a matter of opinion really! Looking good though Turn out tips 3498837457

I like the long pipe look but not sure if I would have them that long? what I would do is have a look on youtube or google images at other custom/cruiser bikes and see what length you think looks good.

Jim.

Thanks guys Turn out tips 3498837457 I think once the bottom turn out pipe is reduced down to size and fitted, it will be about 7 inches longer than existing and level with the back of the back wheel, the top pipe will be about 4 inches long to bring it to the same length.

Hi Sim personally I would not go any longer then the rear wheel, the pipes are slim and look better if not too long.
