| well today I chose the new pipes after killing the standard 1's, so v&h striaghtshots it is.....would love the black 1's but cant find any without the sensors, but metric cruisers will get the order mon morning so hopefully be ridable by the weekend again | |

Truckie, spk to Metric and ask them if the pipes with the sensor holes, have blanking bolts wit them. When i got my Silver tails they came with bolts to blank them off. But it did'nt say anthing about it in the write up, so it was a bonus, if at some point i decided to do away with the sensors. | |

| Spot on. Don't not buy some pipes you fancy because of that, very easy to blank off the sensor holes even if they come with out the blanks. | |

| Push comes to shove i imagine you could put your old senors back in, if you have them, regardles if there not wired up? | |

| Yes that would work the same as a blanking bolt. | |

| Well spoke to metric and ordered a set of cobras after a good bit of customer service from them, new pipes here in the morning.....I don't have any sensors in my originals and did like the look of the black out v&h but in the end on advise and a decent discount the cobras are the choice | |

| That's a dramatic change in numerous ways from stock ones, looks so much better and those ones have a nice sound & tone. | |

| The biggest shock is how small the standard pipes are,the new 1's must be twice the internal diameter no wonder they are a bit sluggish. Even thou I've had mine dyno'd it pulls so much better......but the noise lmao so antisocial.......;o) | |

| Just goes to show how restrictive the stock ones actually are. I am just a little more careful with how much throttle I give it when I am in heavily populated areas and particularly at certain times of the day. | |

| Yeah, I was shocked at the size of the down pipes in comparison to aftermarket pipes, and that's before it gets to the silencer with the cat and baffles in there to get a complete Euro stranglehold on the bike. | |

| Well I've left the baffles in the cobras lol even thou you can remove them lol | |

| And you can wrap them to make the quieter if you wanted too. | |

| They won't be anywhere near as restrictive as stock pipe baffles though plus they tend to give a deeper sound with the baffles left in | |

| Oh cool glad your happy with the DB's, makes the cruiser sound a little more authentic when a pipe is fitted that has a grumble in my opinion | |
