| Can anyone tell me if these bikes come with a light switch or have the euro MP's decided we should have them on all the time? And on the subject of lights has anyone done a HID conversion on the headlamp? | |

| I believe most bikes that have came into the UK for many years have had lights on all the time without a switch to turn them off but the UK law is not so European focused as such. However my road legal trail bikes are both done differently, one has had a switch fitted by me to turn the lights off which is still legal and MOT'd. Also one of my trail bikes has no front lights or indicators fitted at all and has an advisory on it which says" No lights fitted" This is regarded by most as a daylight MOT. | |

| I think early models up to 03 have a light switch, after that they're on all the time unless you do Mr Intruders mod. | |

| I don't like them not having a light switch as I find it alters peoples perception of your approach speed and leads to a very start stop ride, same with yellow vests, I've found people seem to be drawn to me. This is in the daytime I might add! | |

| I'm going to put a switch in the circuit just wondered if an older models switchgear would fit and save some of the hassle. | |

| Would be easy to fire a switch in if required. | |

| Yep that's what I'll do, fit a switch or source an early bike. | |

| Guinessgrim says I've found people seem to be drawn to me." I suspect this must be simply down to his personality rather than a yellow vest (happens to me all the time) | |
