| Decided to make some spikes and mount them on the front wheel shaft. After a lot of thinking on how those things are mounted and stick to the shaft, i actually went to the garage to see if i could get some good ideas. It i would have done that from the start i would have noticed that the front wheel shaft has a hole straight through it. That would have saved me quite a bit of time to think about something else. So the parts i need. 2 cones and a shaft with threads on each end to..... Said and done. Ordered a bit of 30mm aluminum shaft and some 10mm aluminum shaft. Took the parts to my work and borrowed the turning machine for a few hours. And this is the result. The first pair i made. was a bit to short and not as pointy as i wanted them. but i used them as a test to mount things in place and see that i have been thinking straight. This is the ones im gonna use. about 15mm longer than the first ones, pollished and waxed. | |

| thanks man! Took me a while to figure out how to mount them. But the job was quite easy and fun when it came to the execution Am a bit disapointed of the surface on the cones, but thats the turning machine that aint 100% centered so its not possible to get a better outcome on that machine | |

| Got them mounted yesterday... Had to do some modifications to the axel that im using to tighten the spikes since one end of the wheel shaft have a 8mm hole and not 10mm thats in the other end. im really happy with the results :) | |

| Thanks guys.
Been thinking about marking one more spike to use as a knob for the choke. A bit more work Since i need to construct a "slotted nut" to make it function but its still doable | |

| In use the one i have at my job. Not the best one but its free;) Materials was about 250 SEK ( 20-25 points) that was enough to make 3 pairs of spikes and 2 or 3 pairs of axel to put inside the wheel axel. | |

| Simbo: the satisfaction to be able to do just that, step back and see the things you made to your ride is really super. It is allmost complete the way i have planens it. A few changera of plans along the way, new ideas and methods to work things out. But still im kinda produkter of the work and the outcome. | |
