My 2013 Suzuki M800 has arrived

Wasn't sure about the blue as I wanted Black but in the flesh I really like it.

Yep it's nice. Just been up to Tesco to get fuel. Much more breezey than the CBR600 but fun. Much more plastic than on my Harley but I can live with that. Love the wheels and the clean look due to the shaft drive. Plenty of torque and dare I say it, so comfortable

I did consider trading the Harley for a Triumph Speedmaster. In was surprised that the triumph was as quick. The M800 has enough squirt too. And the parts are way cheaper

That's why you got one, You saw it and realised what you were missing and had to have one  

Cracking mate, hope you get on with it OK (cant see why you wont) I have had allsorts over the years ranging from 400's 600's 1000's 300's 125's !!! infact before my Volusia I was riding a Vespa GTS 300 !!!......but I do love this cruiser lark !!!

Hi Kevin have been looking at the speedmaster and was wondering if you had any good or bad points to look out for when buying one,they seem to sell on very quickly,just curious. cheers, Alfie.

The triumphs are expensive at the moment. Love the ride, styling and handling but wouldn't buy one as they are chain drive.

Thanks Mike. That HD cost me 10.5k plus about 900 for the seat, sissy bar etc. Shane most of it was made in China.

Very nice mate. PIllion seat looks a bit more generous than on my M800 2005 model...

Really! I still wouldn't like to sit on it. Mine is coming off for the solo seat cowl.

It does look like a fine seat but then your buttocks will be much greater informed than our eyes.    Must say it would like nice with a solo seat on though.  

All in all planning to do to it Dave is the solo cowl and the Viking warrior bags. Not much vision have in lol.... Thing is, add you know, a cruiser can be changed as you see fit, unlike the sports bikes.

Exactly that, that's part of there appeal. Some times less is more, we just need to think of exactly what we are after & not allow compulsion to shop to get the better of us. My wife always says I can be worse the a lot of women on a shopping trip when it comes to bike stuff.

I'm saying nothing    Other than, yes the later M800 looks great with the seat cowl  

Well in got out and rode it for 1/2 hour this morning. Very relaxed, very quiet, comfortable with good ergonomics. Loved it. So different to my CBR600. Got caught in the wind and very heavy rain as expected. Need an hour cleaning but it will have to wait until tomorrow as working again today and tomorrow afternoon evening.

Was considering the National cycles v screen for this bike. In prefer the look without and first impressions, do in really need it?

I think its only an issue on the motorway.... prefer mine with a screen over 60....

Mal have you the same model as mine?

Mines an 05 m800 but I guess similar weight, handling etc. I went for the american highway style screen. bored sat at desk but cant figure out how to post image using fone...)

See I reckon the square headlight cowl does a good job on its own.

Yep....probably makes a difference. Hopefully someone with the same shape as yours will chime in

Have you thought abouth the National Cycle VStream windscreen. I think they look great and look awesome on the M109. They also come in 2 sizes and attach to the forks rather than the handlebars.

They are amazing and stocked in the UK. 250 quid though. Have to wait a little while.

Hi Kevin, think your bike looks amazing in Blue. I was 50/50 when deciding on the colour for mine at the time.
I think it would look awesome with the dark Vstream windscreen fitted, (it will contrast lovely against the blue)

Might be worth considering when buying add ons, the 800 has a lot of size similarities to the 1500 but can be very different to the 1800 for add ons. Some bits from the 1800 may fit tho, just thought I would point it out cause Pauls screen was for the 1500 but the 1800 has been mentioned for parts   

I checked and it is model specific crash Cheers. Will order the correct one when the time comes.
