| Hi John, Get rid of the oxygen sensors, then you can have whatever pipes you desire | |

| Roofers work with wood and stone, and ride bikes, not evolved enough to know about metal and snipping wires yet, I can get the cobra streetrod pipes from metric cruisers with 2 oxygen censor holes for £475 and my mot is due so I was gonna get York suzuki centre to kill 2 birds with one stone, Which one is quickest and easiest. | |

| Quickest and easiest is?, Order pipes fitted with oxygen sensors, then take to main dealer and have them fitted whilst having the bike MOT'd, It'll just cost more though. | |

| I'm about to invest in Hard Krome all black pipes for my new baby. Can't find any heat shields in black to match pipes (and don't want to burn my trousers/legs again like I did on last 800 with HH pipes. Any ideas, where to go ? Thanks. ps The HK pipes are double skinned, but so are stock pipes, and they have a heat shield on upper pipe. Do I really need a heat shield ? | |

| Have you looked at these? Maybe not the exact part for your bike but, I'm sure they are available.

| Thanks for that, Graham. Those V&H pipes are exactly what I wanted, but the Suzuki dealer says they're not made for the 2014 C800. So Hard Krome is my second best choice. Thanks tho. | |

| :what1: Tell the dealer to learn what he is talking about before teaching grannies how to suck eggs. Of course the will fit. Right the only thing he can be talking about is the fact that they don't have a CO2 sensor boss. Well if you really want the CO2 sensors fitted, simply have a boss welded on to the pipes. Normally I would say get the dealer to do that but I think if that is what you want, I would be inclined to go elsewhere because they obviously have untrained monkey's working for them. What I would do is simply have them fitted either but a trained monkey or fit them yourself & then simply cut wire #23 at the ECU so that the bike doesn't think there is a fault with the CO2 sensors & illuminate the FI light by mistake. Then simply unplug the CO2 sensor cables. | |

| Mine came with the sensor fittings already in place. Talk to Metric Cruisers. They are good guys. | |

| K02 Silvertails. Come with the O2 ports and blanking Bolts if you decide to get rid of them. | |

| Lot's of pipes come with them already fitted but if the pipes anyone decides to fit do not have them fitted and they are pre CO2 sensor pipes, a boss is easily fitted or the removal of the CO2 sensors is very easy. It can work out a darn site cheaper in some cases to buy pipes that have no CO2 sensor bosses fitted and have them fitted ones self if a user requires on a personal level to keep the CO2 sensors rather than remove the CO2 sensor. | |

| Yes it is has a tiny effect on the emissions and I do mean tiny but only on tickover and low revs and it also reduces the power a tiny amount at low revs as well. | |

That's not actually true Dave? The o2 sensors are actually the same thread as a 800 sump bolt, So as a desperate measure they could be used as an emergency substitute | |
