vl800 rear light suggestions?

hi all,
         looking at changing the stock rear light assembly on my vl800 volusia 2003. something a bit sleeker, less sticky out. any suggestions?

I have "THESE" as I don't like the big blob the the stock light resembles, to me at least.

thanks for that, mine is the earlier model with the brick balancing on the fender light . i wonder if that led one would fit it without too much cutting up?

Not really Daz, There's quite a large recess in the fender to take the light on later models, I've seen plenty of different lights on earlier models which cover the existing holes and then the reg placed lower to cover the bottom holes, This pic will show where the holes are after the existing light has been removed.


This is the recess on the later model fender, After it's been filled in.

think i will have a trawl of fleabay, see what turns up.
