| I want to get a seat tail cover for my bike but have only been able to find them with Metric Cruisers so far though, which leads me to my three questions:-
1. Why are there two types of black? A black yay and a gloss sparle black.
2. Which one if any is relevant to my bike? A 2013 M800.
3. Lastly, are there any other suppliers of these that any one knows about?
I realise that most of you go for the sissy bar option with the seat, but ANY help would be appreciated.

| Hi Skidalot, If your M800 is the same colour as my C800? The paint code is YAY and it's called Pearl Nebular Black, If you look in your service book it has the colour name and code there, This is the colour of my bike,It's black with a blue fleck that only stands out in the sunshine. | |

| Service book! Checked the log book and googled away but totally forgot about that thing buried away in a back of a drawer for "safe keeping"! Sparkle black it is then, bit of a discrepancy between glass and gloss as the first word but I'll check first when I phone the order in on Tuesday. Thanks Sim | |

Where do you get the paint from ? I need some for my fender project, but the painters are not allowed to sell it anymore. Regards Kim

| Ok so it is a base coat and needs a clear coat afterwards. How well does the paint match the original ? Skidalot sorry for interrupting your thread | |

| Hi Skidalot Try here: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Soziusabdeckung-Suzuki-Intruder-M800-/251188086507?ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:DE:1123 I think that they have and can paint with the standard color of the bike. P.S. By the way: a nice bike you have | |

| Yes It's a base coat (after primer) and needs a clear coat over the top, I used the one from the first link and it was a very good match to the original colour and the amount of blue flake was very good compared to the original paint on 'my' bike, I've never used the one from the second link, but from other peoples reviews the colour is good but it doesn't have the same amount of blue fleck as the factory paint, I've spoken to various local paint suppliers and paint manufacturers, and their opinion is that they can match the colour without problem, it's the amount of blue fleck they have difficulty with? I suppose it's down to each batch of paint Suzuki use on the production line at any one time. | |
