Greetings from South Africa

Good day all,

As my topic heading says, I'm from South Africa. We are very fortunate to have relatively decent roads and riding weather twelve months of the year.

I recently became the proud owner of a 2004 Intruder VS800, and I'm really enjoying the bike emensely.

I use it as my daily transport to and from work, and love all the attention the bike attracts whenever I ride around town.

Looking forward to hopefully meeting other fellow South African Intruder owners.

Hi Yorky, South Africa really isn't a very big country, lol. I live in a region in the Western Cape Province called the Little Karoo.

Route 62...is that part of the garden route? a rather special road if my memory is correct !

it is 40 years since I was in Cape town after all.

That's correct, Route 62 also forms part of the wine route.
