New exhaust mounting arm

Always hated the original exhaust mounting arm - don't know what it looked like with the original pipes, but it looked horrible with theses pipes.  What was especially nasty was the bracket the previous owner had (badly) made from what appeared to be an old can with a pair of tin snips - he couldn't even be bothered to take off the jagged edge !!  The pipes weren't level in any plane - from the back, the top pipe was almost half an inch out from the bottom.

So I popped down to the guys who made the back mudguard for me, with a sketch of what I had in mind.  "No problems, but we're busy during the week - what about Sunday afternoon?" - which was perfect for me.  So on Sunday afternoon, I spent about three hours watching a bloke called Mick doing a lot of this

which he then sprayed black

which had the effect of making it fifteen feet high !!!

And (almost) invisible from the side.  I can't praise these guys enough - you'd be hard pushed to turn up to most engineering companies & get them to make something from scratch without detailed drawings - let alone cut it, weld it, paint it & fit it - all in three hours - & on a Sunday to boot !!!
