Thanks for the kind offer Mick   no use on my bike though, I have my other keys flapping about on the ignition key   the noise of my bike becomes more tolerable once you've gone deaf mate

You nailed it pal, had sports bikes all my life and never thought I would love a bike like I love this one, only bought it to save my license and wish a had done it years ago! met and ridden with members of this forum over the weekend and a great day was had. Its all about enjoying your riding and not about riding like a knob and waiting for the dreaded NIP on the door mat two weeks later!

Yep, that's a nice looking machine, glad you are enjoying it after an age on sports bikes .... there is something real good about the character of the Suzi 800s ... you can't help but like 'em.

I was going to ask the same question as Big Mal ..... thinking someone was watching from over the wall ... possibly after TWOCing your ride ...... but now you've explained .... I doubt anyone would TWOC a bike belonging to someone who can pee a reservoir full in one go !!!!

Well, I didn't expect so many positive comments as I was only sussing photobucket out but they are very welcome and of course very true, it was the looks that made me buy her in the first place. I must have it bad as I have to have a touch when I go in the garage, its getting like OCD, feels wrong not to. I bet i'm not the only one but the only one sad enough to admit it!

As soon as I pressed send I thought oh no!

I quite often give mine a little pat when I'm on my own in the garage. Then again I sometimes touch the suzuki as well  

I think I may just get the piss took for a very long time over this one, good job I'm on my jollys next week, you lot will have forgot by the time I get back ( I hope!)

Awww, c'mon - surely not, this can only be construed as obsessive, at least that what I was told by my psychiatrist when I told him that I did that  

It gives you a warm feeling, like stroking your dog, the wife asked what she had to do to get the same treatment and I said stay in the garage!

......well in my younger days a 'stroker' meant something oily & smelly - but fast ..... now it seems to relate to 'perverse' activities in the garage ... possibly of the 'behind closed doors' variety.  

....... funny how things change ...... I mean when I was a lad people did 'selfies' behind closed doors - but nowadays people do them in public & post it on the net.   

.... anyway - don't worry Mick - we all do it - we just ain't always as 'open' about it as you...

I am ashamed to say that I pat my bike when I'm alone in the shed and say "Hello" to her. You are not alone, Mick!

I'm currently in a bar on holiday in Sunny beach, Bulgaria and ain't had a stroke for quite a few days, I feel robbed!

A girl I used to know went to bulgaria skiing with her hubby and another couple. Each night whwn they left the apartment block the local ladies of the night were pestering the men for business even tho their wives were wirh them! So theres hope yet mick!

I must be a proper dog as it ain't happened to me in ten years of coming here!

Hey Sim, I know what you are saying .... but Mick ain't in a 'club of one' from some of the sights I see when they let us old noggers out on Friday night !        

Well I'm back and just been in the garage for a stroke and a bit of tenderness with my bike, still didn't get pestered by the local loose ladies although some of the English girls were so loose that bits were dropping off them! Hope to meet up again soon for a toddle about and what's this weather all about???
