Finally done it. First a 10mm rod all the way up her back passage then followed it up with a 20mm rod only halfway (first baffle).  Sounds a little louder when cruising but she sure does BARK when she is opened up. Fitted a double USB socket for sat-nav and phone, an indicator warning buzzer for safety reasons and a RING Automotive horn which sure is going to make someone jump.  Very pleasing.

Well Pete, you can't quite beat rodding her up the rear passage !  Bit the BULLIT 184121345  Bit the BULLIT 2343124779

Not surprised she's been howlin' ever since !  hyst  Bit the BULLIT 3213823784

Does seem a popular 'mod' to 'rod'  :good i:  Bit the BULLIT 2170595768

Nice one Pete Bit the BULLIT 3498837457 , give that second baffle a 20mm scuttle m8 affraid  & if you drill holes in the back plates as well you'll be in noise heaven Bit the BULLIT 852880 . Took me a long time to pluck up the courage to do these exhaust mods but with the encouragement of the guys on this site, I did it & I love the results Bit the BULLIT 586905  Bit the BULLIT 881924 PS its not overly loud like open pipes, just how a 'V' twin should sound.

Frigging hell Peter, I am shocked that you have done that to your pristine bike. Shocked I tell you, shocked.  Bit the BULLIT 249703
But I like it all the same.  Bit the BULLIT 852880
Well worth doing the indicator buzzer and I like the horn.  Bit the BULLIT 3498837457
