| Hi everyone , Has anyone on here used the above? I bought a set from ebay a couple of weeks ago for my 2003 vl800 but they didn't fit, far to small for the indicator unit, I spoke to the seller who said it was the right piece for the model so couldn't offer any alternative. Bought another set from M&P which came today (different model number) but still the same problem - to small. Are there any difference in the indicator sizes between the 2001-2003 ? As ever, all advice gratefully received. | |

| I've got some indicator visors on mine but not sure what make they are? I got them from Metric Cruisers and they sent the wrong ones first , they had screw holes in them and only fitted over the top half of the indicator, the later ones don't have screws and go around the lens and are held in place with double sided tape, I'm not sure on indicator changes over the years? could be worth looking in the 'Showroom' to compare them with yours. | |

| OK then don't take this as gospel cause it's Saturday and I have sunk a few pints but I have just phoned Mr Intruder and he reckons (I think) that there was a couple of changes over the years to the indicator OEM part numbers on the indicators but he aint sure what the differences were or what years they were on without looking Anyway back to proper business | |

| When I returned the original visors to the company I bought them from, the guy said he thought that the american model had larger indicators than the European model, really not sure of the validity of this but it is a bit strange that two different sets from two different companies do not fit the model and year that they purport to fit . Gonna send these back, don't think I'll try again! | |

| 2001 indicators are round and stubby same for the 2003 2005 they went to the longer thinner type they're still the same for the 2014 model | |

| Yes, defo the stubby indicator as shown, I'm wondering if the ones I've been sent are more appropriate for the longer, thinner style. Never mind, but I won't buy any more, shame really as I think they would look quite good. Gonna have to think of some other mod to carry out! | |
