| I am thinking of buying a warning buzzer for my bike, even after all these years I am still occasionally leaving the indicator on. When you think about it thats bloody dangerous. With the one in the link it says that it will bleep whenever the indicator is flashing unless you wire it in with either the back or front brake so that when your in traffic it doesn't bleep, which is extremelly easy to do! I have thought that maybe the bleeper might do my head in but if its louder than I want it to be I could muffle it slightly or even put a switch in so that I can have it turned off at night! For £7.49 I reckon it could be worth a gamble! I just wondered if anyone else has fitted one & what your thoughts are?

| Wel I just ordered it, so I will take my chances. For the sake of a couple of £'s I reckon it's worth a gamble. When I get it I will take a couple of pic's of the install! not worried at all about how loud it is as the wires can easily be extended to put it where I want it & I will muffle it to what ever degree I need to to get it so that it is just audible enougth so that I can only just hear it! ........................................................................................................ Wad when you say "the m800 has one" do you mean your one has it or they all have one? I am suprised to here that they would fit it to the M800 but not the C800! | |

| I often leave my indicator running which could be very dangerous! My HD has self cancelling and it's something I miss when I ride the Suzy. I had thought of wiring in another set of flashers facing me as I just don't see the tiny ones on the dash but this sounds a really good idea. (Another problem I have is the Harley has separate left and right push switches on each side - very confusing when you change bikes - I press the starter to turn right and the horn for left for the first few milnutes on the Intruder sometimes !)
A safety mod like this would always get priority in my book.

| Spike I didn't think they did, came as a suprise to me. I think Wad has just worded it wrong or presumed they did because his does/did! | |

| Hi Dave the m800/m50 do not have them fitted as standard, the only difference with the m50 to m800 and c800 is the front indicators, were wired as running lights otherwise the same. The indicator bulbs are off set pins. | |

| Wad if yours is still fitted and it's anoying you I suppose the simple answer is either disconect it or muffle it to take the volume right down so that it is right in the background | |

That's a point. Our refuse lorries have buzzers when they reverse in a nearby cul-de-sac for safety sure, but they go on and on and on and on - drives me crazy. I think being able to disable the indicator audible warning would be a must, so long as we did not forget to reactivate. I can't help thinking that self cancelling would be the ideal although these do not work on small turns. On the whole I think this mod would make the bike safer.
