| The original exhaust has lasted 21 years but is showing its age. I'd like to replace it with something along the lines of Jardine Rumblers .. but street legal. Suggestions? | |

| Do they do Rumblers or Cruzers for a VX800? I'd have thought they'd be the slip on end can type or something similar to a Triumph Bonneville type exhaust system?, Andrew or Yam will probably know more. | |

| I think Sim is right they probably don't do Cruzers for you bike, sorry I hadn't really noticed which bike you have. | |

| Hi Paul. Motad & Jama used to make aftermarket systems for the VX, but they don't seem to currently list them. Might be worth enquiring in case they can offer you 'something' I think the downpipes tend to last a good while, and most people just replace the silencers. (i.e. As Sim says - use a 'slip-on' - especial classic 'older style' ones) It might be worth searching on the 'European Union' section of e-bay as the VX had a better following in Europe, and I think there may be some German manufacturers making aftermarket systems. I remember years ago there was a firm that advertised in the Classifieds on MCN that made 'bespoke stainless systems' and the prices weren't too bad for a new system. I think the firm was called 'Gazelle', and a search of the web confirmed that. They used to be based in South Wales, but they may have relocated (possibly in France) Try this link for other possible sources of exhausts Motorcycle Exhaust Suppliers and Fabricators Yam | |

| Hi. Paul, if you haven`t sourced anything yet have a look at Marving Legend pipes on the EXACTREP site. I`ve no experience of them personally, but may be what you`re after? | |
