| Well folks here i am again for you to see my two mods: One are 2 chrome mirrors and the other my new DIY cruise control lever: Made with a large M8 3.9", toothed washers, exhaust clamp 15.7"x17.7" diameter, an aluminum sleeve (to work inside the exhaust clamp), tube foam, a rubber washer, etc ...so simple and it works without any problem. Twist the throttle, push the rubber to front and it makes the throttle stop going back. If i need to lower the speed quickly, i simple twist down the throttle and the control lever raises up. About the mirrors: i think that it will fit my purposes to make the front more dynamic and fluid and not (i think) those "big rectangular oem panoramic mirrors with levels of screws&rubbers seemed like a lift" Any feedback ?????? P.S. These photo were taken today on a riders event and i take off always my wrist holders (to avoid robbery) on the two outsides of the handlebar that i need to ride, because my carpal tunnel syndrome on both hands. That's why i have to make this DIY cruise control. On a ride i had to stop so many times because the pain, weakness, and sometimes numbness in the hands and wrists, up to the arm. Today i made 284 miles (round-trip), without any pain. Cool.... | |

Well i said it above about throttle: Twist the throttle, push the rubber to front and it makes the throttle stop going back. If i need to lower the speed quickly, i simple twist down the throttle and the control lever raises up. The chrome mirrors they had 14 to sell at that time. Now they have none. Sorry. But you can search more mirrors here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_sop=1&_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=suzuki+M800+mirrors&LH_PrefLoc=3&_pgn=3&_skc=100&rt=nc All other members.... for yours feedback. P.S. Perhaps i will make a video to show "how it works". | |
