| Been asked a thousand times I'm sure and I've seen the YouTube videos
My question is if I just remove the rear baffles does the fuelling need altering ?
Thanks | |

| Hello Brian, I`ve totally de-baffled two VZ800 marauders and not re-jetted,,, My current VZ800 Marauder has a slightly modified standard exhaust ( holes drilled through the end plate and back end of the baffle) and it is not been re-jetted. If your bike is a Uk model the main jet needle will have 5 groves/notches at the top,, the circlip is usually fitted in the 3rd ( middle) slot,, I always drop it 1 notch to richen the mixture slightly as they run lean from the factory it also smooth's out the pick up when you crack the throttle. Hope this is of some help mate. | |
