Hi drifter
I bought mine from the states but I think it was made in China.

I bought a combined sissy bar and rear rack, and found the spacing all over the shop (in terms of whether it was the right width for the fender rails.

I ended up buying packs of stainless steel washers to pack it out.... So turned out fine in the end but a bit of a hassle. Oh, and it goes rusty if the weather man forecasts rain!

But as others have said, the Chinese are getting their act together and so you could buy from there and get decent quality. Still a bit of a lottery I say....

I bought one with a rear rack ,fitted OK but I could tell the chrome wouldn't last ,I sprayed mine satin black along with my other chromework . it has proved to be strong enough though ..
