| hi. i am trying to adjust the valves on my trike. i know it is a vx800 engine but thats about it. the manual says that you use different marked positions for TDC if its and E18 model or other model. can anyone tell me the model or more info on my engine so that i can set it up correctly please? i am not having much luck finding stuff out. the engine number is S501-112772. cheers for any help | |

| Might be worth talking to your local dealer see if they can get the info from their system. | |

| The 'S' means it is 750—849cc, the '5' means its Four-stroke twin, the '01' means nothing as far as I can tell and everything after the '-' is its actual number, that's about I can help with, sorry. I can not even cross reference it with mine as its engine number is '14', that's all it says!! | |

The 01 should be the year of manufacture. | |

| I'm not sure if that is the case Sim on older Suzuki's, I have seen some engine codes for 3 different VX engines from 3 different years and they all start with S501 besides, they never made the VX in 2001!! | |
