| After my first season of riding I can safely say I love it! Going to give the bike a good service/preventative maintenance, struggling to find a k&n air filter for my k5-it's a 55 plate volusia vl800 with fuel injection. If anyone could advise a part no. That will fit I would really appreciate it as I'm struggling! cheers Matt | |

| Hiya Matt
This is a link to the K&N UK site. They list several '05 models - I'd be inclined to give 'em a call & ask which is suitable

| Hi Dave personally I buy K&N for the fact they should last as long as the ownership of the bike,(cheaper), performance wise totally unknown. | |

At best with a re jet and some dyno time? (for carbed models) 10% possibly? which in reality is equivalent to 5 bhp at the engine, 3 bhp at the back wheel, Is it noticeable? power wise, probably not, you'll just get a smoother running engine which is more willing to rev due to the free'er breathing, economy wise? it should balance itself out unless you take advantage of the extra hp?

| I'll have a chat with the guys who dynoed mine the other month & see what they say. It's been running a treat since then & I don't fancy having to bugger around with it | |

That's strange? They list them on their web site under Suzuki C50 part number SU-8001, it's the same part number for all VL800 2001 right through to 2008 when it changed to the bigger filter box.
