| Hi all am looking at the sissy bag luggage, i have a back rest which my wife uses, am i right in thinking you need a luggage rear carrier as well, or can i just mount on to the back of the back rest, trying to get ready to go away for the weekend all we need now is some warmer weather... | |

| A rack would be useful to take the weight of the bag Chris, I've strapped a ruck sack to the sissy bar and put some of that none slip foamy stuff on the mudguard to stop it scratching the paintwork before now though, i've also seen bags that that have a sleeve on the back for sliding over the sissy bar too, pretty much the same as using straps really, but they just look neater. | |

| I have a bag with a sleeve on as well. When they are fitted with them and on a rack, weight is no problem. | |

| Here's my 5p worth.... The bag with a sleeve will sit on the sissy bar without a rack fine. But depending how much weight you carry in it, it may self destruct pretty quick as there's nothing else to take the weight. Good luck in your search | |

| I have a Nelson Rigg Pak with roll bag that is for sale if anybody is interested? I've only fitted it not used it. It comes with roll bag & waterproof cover & fits over the sissy bar & fastens with Velcro to make it tight & expands 50% more by unzipping it. £90- +PnP if anyones interested. Google for more online info or send me a personal mail ok? | |
