I painted my vz!

Yup, painted my ride. I'm quite strapped for cash, and I wanted to get rid of my failing decals, and red paint. 
I didn't want to spray can the thing, and didn't want my bike off the road for the length of time it'd take to get a paint job that I can't afford anyway. 
I did end up using a spray can, but not paint. 
SPRAY ON TRUCK BED LINER! 


Read and watched lots of reviews, found a sample of its actual finish, and loved it. 


I peeled the decals out from under the brittle clear coat, wire wheeled the adhesive off, sanded, sanded, sanded, prime the bare metal, and painted. 


Can I just say, this was scary. I'm confidant, handy, and capable, and this scared me. I'm still scared. It's going great but you just never know until the finish line. Here's some.

Rustleum spray on truck bed liner.

Yup, like the texture on that finish, a lot.

I've done the tank, and front fender. Also blacked out the valve covers on the right, but need to do the left side (which don't come off). Along with blacking out the motor and sanding the finns all the way down. 
The rear fender doesn't want to cooperate. Seat release screws striped out, and a bolt I can't even look at is just spinning from under the fender, so it's staying because it's to nice out not to ride.

Oh! And I'm thinking I'm going to chop it down.
