Clearly the wide tire kit is possible for our Intruders

In case anyone was still wondering why we're so crippled with Intruders in terms of wide tires... we ain't.

Angled shaft drives are a thing. No clue how they do the wheel with shaft hub though.

Sadly, they don't seem to be very communicative. I enquired about VL800 kit.

My guess would be that they've cut a second shaft, then fitted a UJ onto a short section to get it round the bend coming off the diff with a bearing to support it fitted into the short section.  The outer section is a lot wider than ours.  How the fuck they've managed to locate the shaft into the outer I can't imagine.  It's a pig of a job getting it to line up just on a straight run - not to mention that the shaft is too long to go round the bend.

Either the shaft has been fitted in place, then the outer section fabricated around it, or the outer section that's not visible is open so that the shaft can be fitted with a protective sheath of some kind to keep off the crap.  I'd love to know how they've done it.
