I understand that such a thing exists but I had a quick look inside my headlight and I couldn't find an unused socket.

Can anyone advise what exactly, I'm looking for, wire colours etc

2013 C800

Thanks

Gary.

You should find a ''T'' shaped connector in the shell somewhere Gary but see Sim's post as well ok?

Thanks Peter, am I correct in assuming that earth is 'white' on these bikes.

Found it Headlight auxillary socket for GPS 433968

It's the white block in the centre of the pic. It was taped to the main loom and completely hidden from view.

I did it with ACF50 a few months ago and it hasn't got any worse.

Not good in a two-year old bike thats been pampered in a heated garage, is it.

I double-checked the polarity and as you guys said the black/white wire is the earth.

I've ordered a plug from the place recommended on the other thread then I'll get on with the wiring.
