Torque spec please

I've searched but cannot find the torque setting for the fill and drain plugs on my final drive.

Can anyone advise please.

i ve never torgued those  always mark the drain  with a little tippex make sure hasn't moved do that with all bolts and nuts torgued or not

Filler plug I have no idea but drain plug is 16.5 ft.lbs. I usualy just go by feel on those sort of things.

Ditto to Dave Garry. Just nip up but not too tight though!

The filler plug has an 'O' ring so not so critical.

It was the drain I was more concerned about especially as it's into Japanese aluminium. 

16.5 ft lbs will do for me

As someone said the other day when asking a similar question on the Velocette Facebook page, 'When your ears burn that'll be too tight'!!!
