| Hi Folks
As yet I do not own a Suzuki - I'm on a Honda 750 Shadow. I have been looking to change and the C800C seems to fit the bill. I have been drawn here during the research period by a thread from Mistress K, very well laid out and informative. I have a few questions, which I shall ask in other threads, and I hope that's OK. I'm looking to change in the next couple of weeks. Me? I'm getting on a bit in age and I'm a high mileage rider.

| Thanks for the welcome, guys. I've already harvested a fair amount of information and I will be after a lot more in the not too distant future.
The new bike arrives on Wednesday morning - at 0600!! would you believe. The Shadow has gone and I will be sorting out the insurance tomorrow.

| Thanks for the link to the pictures tutorial, Dave. Looks much the same as the Shadow site I was on.
It's all doom and gloom in the Williams household at the moment......my new bike didn't arrive at the allotted time! It was supposed to be PDI'd on Tuesday and delivered Wednesday. Dealer says he didn't say that!! I said we'd jump in the car and come straight down and I'd ride it home. Then it came out that it hadn't been PDI'd either! So now it is arriving on Friday morning, so watch this space. I can only hope that the workshop is better organised than the sales team!

| All is sweetness and light!! Bike arrived at 0745, adaptor plate material (for saddlebags) arrived at 1300 and the crash bars arrived at 1315. Crash bars are on, complete with highway pegs and those horrible stickers reminding me to wear a helmet have been removed A good day all round.
