everyone, look forward to getting to know you all and picking your brains as I am not at all that cleaver when it comes to bikes.
Although my wife bought my bike brand new in 2015 for my birthday it still has zero miles on the clock because the morning after it was delivered I was out walking the dogs and fell down an embankment and shattered my femur very badly.
I am still waiting to be admitted to the RNOH in Stanmore to correct previous surgery carried out at my local hospital so be careful when out walking your dog.

  big G! I used to work with a company called Big G here in Spondon. You'll be ok with the bike it just takes a short while to get accustomed like any bike & the guys will help you out with help & suggestions mate ok, Oh n by the way my name is Peter, what's yours may I ask?

Welcome to the forum. - Sorry to hear about your fall and hope you get fixed up enough to get on the bike. - I once fell down an embankment, although this was more to do with being pushed. If ever you join us for a ride out, I'll point out the guitly party so you can be aware!

  George!   ........ Smashed my right femur up myself a few years back (no dogs involved though!) so I know what a drag it is getting it back to full capability.
The Intruder is an ideal bike for this what with its low seat height ...... here's to a speedy recovery!

I was nicknamed bigG as a young lad not because I was the tallest but because I was the shortest 5ft 4in, as the years have passed I have got somewhat larger in all the wrong places so the name fits.
Once again thanks to all the members who have made me welcome and wished me well in my forthcoming op.

Hiya Big - welcome on board.  What do you mean "the morning after it was delivered" - the morning after ??? !!!  What happened to the first five minutes after it was delivered ??
