Hi guys, nearly 40 so planning my mid life crisis now Wink Currently have a VT125 Honda Shadow and will hopefully have past my full test in the next few months.

I thought passing the test would be the hard part until I started looking at the range of bikes. Air cooled vs water cooled? shaft, chain or belt? Honda, Yamaha or Suzuki?

I finally decided on the Suzuki but then came unstuck with the range of models and I can't actually identify the difference between Marauder, intruder etc. Any buying advice would be appreciated

This is a picture of the one I'm trying to identify. The specific difference I'm looking at is the back end

I have also realised the North East is a S**t place to buy custom cruisers but on a plus side, going from 125 to 800cc is only an extra £15 on the insurance :)

Suzuki Guru advice needed 2773974287  Murphy! &  wwweee   Suzuki Guru advice needed 3005623951

The bike you are looking at is the Intruder M800, the same as what I have. The back seat cowl does not come with the bike when new, you will have to mod it yourself. Off the top of my head the cowl costs around about the £50> price range.

Thanks Skidalot, I figured that might be the case regarding the seat cowl but when I search M800 I also get pictures like this one and I'm not struck on the raised back end

Thats the M800 pre 2010 model, they changed the shape of the rear end and the headlamp cowl in 2010. Suzuki Guru advice needed 184121345

That's made things so much simpler, tweaked the settings on auto trader and now only getting the relevant results.

First choice was C800B B.O.S.S, but since they are like rocking horse s**t, post 2010 M800 it is.

Suzuki Guru advice needed 2610028573  Murphy.  I have a 2015 800 BOSS and in my opinion, it is the best looking bike from the whole range. Good luck with your search.

Hello mate, good luck with your search. I had the pre 2010 m800 and loved it!

Mind you that back end on the newer models is lovely, although personally I don't like the headlamp cowl on the newer m800 :)
