Custom Exhausts

anyone any experience of custom exhausts? 
Companies to look at, companies to avoid, costing, that sort of thing? 

I really like the V&H 2 into 2's but they don't do them for us. Was wondering about getting them done as a one off.

Sorry Simbo, when I say custom I mean one off builds. The exhaust I want you can't get for our bikes.

I had my end cans made by a guy in Hucknall, Nottingham.  He also makes full systems, but once you get into one-offs, it ain't cheap - I was getting quotes in the region of £800.  What is it you want that you can't buy off the shelf ?

Sweet. However, I'm guessing they'll be loud as fuck. I made the mistake of cutting mine short - nowhere near as short as those - & regretted it. Not trying to put you off, but try & see if you can hear something similar running. Cost me £250 to correct - last thing you want to do is end up spending shit loads on a set of pipes that look great, but aren't comfortable to use.

I've been looking at the HH shortshots that look similar length to these so I'm guessing volume should be about the same. And there a few guys in here with them and seem to like them.
I've tried hunting down something similar to listen to but have not found anything yet.
I'm at a massive bike show weekend after next so will be hunting down something then hopefully.

Failing that, just have to bite the bullet.
