| Love this little accessory, great if you want to light a fag while on the move. More importantly tho' its always handy to have a power point and an excuse to add more chrome.

| Nice, I added a power point to my bike a short while ago, hidden away near the tool kit. They are a blessing on rallies. | |

| I thought about adding one there but as I had an order of bits coming from the USA and spotted it, I added it to my basket. I am a sucker for chrome accessories. Apart from that as it's a direct fused link to the battery it could make the difference for either yourself or another biker if a flat battery is evedent & I carry a small set of jump leads that will go into it in my saddle bags just in case. | |

| Where did you get it from. I am getting ready for a 4000k trip and I need it. Much better than the black plastic crap that I have seen so far. BTW on the M50 there is a 2 pin plug that goes back to the fuse box ready wired for accessories, beats wiring it back to the battery. | |

| Thanks for the link Crash.
The accessories connector is in the headlight itself. Pull the lens off and you will find a T shaped spade connector with a Black/White wire (Earth) and an Orange/Blue Wire (12V via 10A fuse in the fuse box) The fuse is fuse 6 labelled Power source and runs off of the ignition swicth. I can't remember if the fuse was in place or I had to buy it myself though.
The 2 pin connector is a standard automotive connector and you should be able to get it from any car parts supplier. | |

| In one hit, I've found a beautiful power socket, and a neat way of tapping into the electrics I didnt even know existed! Mind you I nearly fell off my chair seeing the price of the socket, but then again, you get what you pay for. What a great site! Thanks guys. | |

| Always glad we can help Mal It's surprising how few people actually know about the auxiliary power point in the headlight bucket. As for the power socket, this really is a quality product, its very solidly made and is chromed to a very high standard. | |

| Yeah it's a good looking bit of kit, not quite as pretty since the bike somersaulted with me on it. Ah it's got a few scratches now but it's just a war wound as far as I am concearned. If you don't you'll so I think I will | |

| I think you're paying way extra for the chrome. Unless you really want that shape, there are loads of much cheaper 'ordinary' black ones. For example, after mine burnt out en route to Spain last year, I've now fitted one of these... good heavy duty water cover...

| I have just got one of these (http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorcycle/handlebar-accessories/warrior-12-volt-dual-usb-handlebar-with-waterproof-mount) but I have not had chance to fit it yet. I have also just ordered one of these for my phone to go in (http://shop.buybits.com/waterproof-galaxy-note-3-motorcycle-handlebar-mount-sku-18120.html). | |
