| If it was locked rotor or windings burnt it should blow the fuse. I would file those points and soak it with pen-oil. 65,000 on mine & only time it let me sit was when a spider spun a web between those points while I was tent camping. It stopped before I got out of campground. Took me a half hour to fix with just OEM tools in bag. ![vs750 fuel pump 586905](/users/2611/31/42/84/smiles/586905.gif) | |

Black? Just as Mr Ford said "You can have any colour you want? as long as it's Black". Glad you got the pump sorted ![vs750 fuel pump 3498837457](/users/2611/31/42/84/smiles/3498837457.gif) | |

| Cheers Simbo, its already black well sort of ? black and rust ! iv looked on google at hundreds of vs 600/700/750/800 and they are all basic colours ? because this is a total rebuild thought i might do something different ?????? metallic green/white stripe ? yellow ? cadbury purple ? hydro dip ? old school flames on tank ? or HEAVY SAND 80 grit and lacquer ? metal flake ? candy ? with it being a cruiser with that slower speed it needs a different look ? something that pops ? ill come up with something ? | |
