vs 750 oil leak ?

Hi peps,well i have my engine on the bench !
before i pulled it i removed the chrome from around the top of the pots,to stop damage,
2 m10 bolts and 2 long head bolts,the rear was fine but when i got to the front
their was oil in the long front bolt hole ?now i no previous owner had the barrels honeded
and new rings and head gaskets,it never used oil or burnt any ?im thinking it might be he never
cleaned any thing that went down when he pulled the heads ?? it came just to the hight of the bolt thread
and not up the shaft i dipped it with old wheel spoke and it was about 3mm in the bottom
there was never a leak between head or lower crankcase no oil in water and no water leak?
iv looked at a new head gasket on line and cannot see any oilways for it to get in the hole ?
as the rubber seal goes around completely ? and the water jacket is all around !
so what do you think
