The mystery of the Intruder 800 Highway bars

Back in the 90's I bought a used 1994 Intruder 800 and it had an undermounted chrome highway bars that I believe came from Highway Hawk.  The thing was heavy, but the footpegs folded up and was pretty comfortable.  I took them off because I installed forward controls - then (regrettably) sold them on ebay.

I bought another intruder 800 (1997) and fortunately found the highway bars on ebay.  I snatched them up and spray painted them matte black.  (I was making a rat chopper).  While I was waiting for them to dry, someone stole them from my garage (it's in a Chicago alley).

Now I can't seem to find those highway bars anywhere.  Not on ebay anymore - or I haven't seen them.

They were NOT engine guards. 

Does anybody know what I'm talking about?  Does anybody know who makes them or other info?  Does anybody want to sell me theirs?  It really is the last mod I want to do to complete my beautiful rat chopped up Intruder.  Thanks.

It's unfortunate that no one responded to this. I've noticed the aftermarket support for these bikes is slim. Did you have any luck finding anything? I'm also interested in putting highway bars that aren't crash bars on and I feel like I'm going to have to fabricate something myself.

Would engine bars help for mounting pegs/bars?
