Hi Barky,

Like Mr I said, they look great but my experience of a pair of those V's the large round standard headlamp that I replaced with a chrome pair. Was the light spread and beam on an unlit country road was nowhere near as good as the standard searchlight the bike came with.

True......but i just love spending the pennies on the bike, but i will give it good thought Headlight change for Suzuki M800 433968

I was looking at those ones on the metric cruisers site, but i will have to give them a call because there i couldnt see any information about the bulbs on that page. I would want to swap them for better bulbs to compenste for the smaller diameters, possibly xeons

Thanks for the link DD that is the sort of thing I was looking for, glad you have found them to be good quality for such a low price. I still havent moved the bike down to the garage to store it for the worst of winter and service/clean/modify it, so I havent had a chance to look underneath the headlight cowl yet to see what I am dealing with, but I will post pics if I do, for those here that have the new M. Barky I will let you know if the double headlight takes the better bulbs

They look really nice. As for how good the light is compared with stock headlight, it depends whether you ride much at night. I wonder how many on here ride by headlight?

I am on my bike more at night than I am during the day, and my scary experience with headlights the other night means I want to get this right, and have as much visibilty as possible

Absolutely mate. I have done 8k miles on mine in the last year and a bit but not once in the dark! So what's the Intruder like when the sunny goes to bed?

I think headlight light spread as DD said is only important on unlit country roads, for rider vision it isn't all that important in town at night as most towns are over lit.

Im in the middle of surrey, I travel down 4-5 miles of unlit country roads usually every night. The full beam is pretty good, but i would prefer if the dipped beam extended just that bit more. Got it adjusted as high as it will go. Roads aren't all the great round here, plenty of pot holes to watch out for at night

Those lights take H4 12v/55w bulbs and there are plenty of xenon bulbs available

I love the twin light look as you can see if you look at the showroom of my bike.

I did have the ones your looking at on my bandit 1200 bu found that for the cruiser they just looked a bit small

This is for a diffrent look triple light http://www.bikercom.com/shop/index.php?page=pp_producto.php&md=0&ref=H68-109

This is some pics of the lights your looking at fitted http://www.100-biker.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=45063
