Vz800 handlebars on vs800 ?

Hi guys,

I hope you are all doing well during these hard times. As I have a lot of free time now, I was looking into some options to swap out my old stock buckhorn handlebars on my 1997 Intruder vs800.

I was looking at vz800 marauder oem t-bars and they definitely look better than mine. Knowing that I could find a used set for cheap on Ebay, it could be a sweet option for me.

Anyone has ever tried doing the swap? Does it fit ?

Just been out to the garage and measured the stock bars that came off my VZ800, the distance between the centres of the mounting studs is 100mm. Hope this helps.

Cool, looks like it wil be an easy swap. If your lucky you might find someone with a VZ looking to swap his bars for your bars and risers.  I never liked the stock bars on the VZ, but actually think they might suit the Intruder. Post some pics when you get the job done.
