Hi All, good to be on here

Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself and give a couple of details about my biking history.
Started off with a Suzuki AP50 in 1976, a great little moped, unrestricted and good for 50mph (downhill and with a following wind).
At 17, I then progressed to a Suzuki X7 250, the first 100mph 250cc. Another flying machine that I loved.
Next up was a Yamaha RD350LC, one of the first to enter the country. I put a deposit down before they arrived in the country and as I had to wait so long they gave a Bell Star II helmet with full branding free. A brilliant bike and so much fun to ride.
After a few years of riding the LC, I sold it and bought an old Honda XL250 trials bike for mucking around with.
Marriage and kids put paid to the biking and a family car was my mode of transport for over 30 years.
Just before my 60th birthday, with the kids now grown up, I've decided to indulge myself and buy another bike after 30+ years away.
I've just bought a 2001 Suzuki VZ800 Marauder and hope to make a few modifications, maybe strip it back, Bobber style.
I'm looking forward to enjoying my return to the saddle and being part of the 'biking family' again.

Thanks Badger. I occasionally look at the price these bikes are going for now and I can't believe the price of nostalgia these days!

When I was around 20, I wish I had invested in a big garage and some properties down Cardiff bay.
