Hi all Iv just got myself a beautiful vz800 intruder on a 63 plate have been out on it a few times and have a couple of questions.
First question when the bike gets into the higher rev range it vibrates like washing machine through the seat, bars and pegs basically the whole bike I have checked everything is tight and the tyres are good nothing is wrong with it apart from the servicing it has full history but it looks like its never had the valves adjust could this be why it vibrates so much (it also seems to lack power but that could just be me not used to cruisers).

And one other question is there suppose to be anything attached to the bracket under the right side panel

hi ya prospect
i had never had cruiser either ,so went from sh** off a sovel to very heavy plodder ...
just gotta accept that it is a cruiser and not a fast machine ,it will get you to where ya going but a little
slower..  it will grow on you .. mine is a 14 plate with 3,800 ish miles ,not used much cos of ill health and vibrates a lot also ,when i did get out, i ignored the vibes and enjoyed the rides....ENJOY IT ...
