Hello from France

Hi. Haven't even sat on a bike for over 35 years. Today, I bought a 1990 vx800. It's being delivered on Saturday. The damn thing frightened me so much I didn't do anything other than look it over and listen to the engine. It's going to be a long road to getting my confidence back. But life is too short not to follow a passion when it surfaces, eh? I'm 65 years old - maybe that will explain it... Looking forward to, well, the future... Hey there steviecat, reading your post made me laugh. I also hadn't riddin in a good 30 years although I did ride a lot before that time and when I bought my vs800 and went for a spin it I felt like I was going so fast at only 25 mph! haha   But you will get used to it again, just remember to look at the horizon of the road and not down at it lmao.   Have a great time!   

P.S. I forgot to mention that although I don't feel it at all, I am 70 years old.
