possible new Intruder owner

G'day from New Zealand,  My name is Steve and I live near New Plymouth, Taranaki, on the North Island.
I have been looking at you tube videos of the Suzuki VS800 for the past couple of weeks now after getting
knocked off (3rd time in 47 years of riding ) of my Yamaha FJ1200. Thankfully I was uninjured, I was stationary
 at an intersection waiting to turn when some clown in a ute drove straight into me, seriously damaging the FJ. 
So now I am looking for a new ride, I am now 63 years old and I feel that a smaller machine would be more
suitable, especially the lower seat height. I am going to look at a 1999 VS800 tomorrow. So watch this space.

Hello Steve, welcome.   A few here including myself, have done a drop on the bikes, with a lowering kit.

Hi everyone, just a quick update on my last post, 'going to look at an intruder'  well I didn't even get to see it, the lady who was selling, changed her mind ( typical woman. ha ha) and decided she loved it so much, she could not sell it. So I'll have to keep on looking for another one. Suzuki Intruders seem to be a bit thin on the ground over here in NZ. Bye for now.  Steve.
